Luis Chih-Wei Ho is a London-based furniture designer and maker, currently completing an MA in Design Furniture at Central Saint Martins, graduating in June 2026. His previous studies at Goldsmiths shaped a research-led approach centred on perception, embodied experience, and material experimentation through recipe-based processes.

Working across furniture and installation, Ho’s practice explores multi-sensory interaction beyond the visual. He investigates how bio-based composite materials can invite tactile engagement over time and build emotional connections between people and objects. His work questions the dominance of purely functional or image-led furniture, proposing material honesty and emotional durability as responses to fast furniture culture.

Alongside his academic practice, Ho has undertaken an internship with SOAR Running, gaining experience in teaser animation, print development, and pop-up store installation. Material samples from the Ground Collection were exhibited at SaloneSatellite 2026 during Milan Design Week.
